My First Gaming PC

Well, due to complete and utter frustration with not being able to play some pc games that are totally grabbing my attention, I'm building my first gaming pc. I had decided this late last year, but thought I would only be able to get a part here, maybe a few parts there and have a machine up and running before the fall. But I did my income tax return on Sunday and found I was getting much more than I expected. So I made my wish list at Newegg, with a major bit of help from my brother-in-law and the fine folks at Tekzilla. Here is my list:

I originally had a hard drive on the list, but took it off since I just bought one late last year to replace the one that was dying in my eMachine, so I can just take that out and use it and get a cheaper and smaller one in the eMachine. I also was looking at a different video card, the SAPPHIRE 100283-2L Radeon HD 5770, but decided to go for a bit smaller and cheaper one to save money right now. But that will be easy to upgrade in time if I choose to do so. Overall, I'm quite happy with this list. I am also looking forward to getting Windows 7. Now I just need for my federal return to come and I can order the items and get it up and running.

I can't wait to geek out. :D
